Opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir Thursday said the government would be compelled to reinstate caretaker government.
“The government will be compelled to reinstate the caretaker government through movement led by opposition leader Khaleda Zia,” he said.
The spokesperson for the former ruling party came up with the forewarning while addressing a reception programme organized for release of Chhatra Dal general secretary Amirul Islam held here.
He told his audience that the “killer government has to be ousted through the movement led by Khaleda Zia”.
Mirza Fakhrul also urged all to join the anti-government movement.
The BNP leader alleged that the government is not protesting the border killing. “We do not get a drop of water from India. But, the government is signing deal with India against the country’ interest,” he said.
BNP leader Aman Ullah Aman, Fazlul Haque Milon, Khairul Kabir Khokon and Nazim Uddin Alam also spoke.
