BNP not believe in seat distribution,Bangladesh

DHAKA: Opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir categorically said his party doesn’t believe in seat distribution, rather wants to assume power with people’s faith and love.

He came up with the observation from a protest rally held in front of party’s central office at city’s Naya Paltan area Sunday.

Indicating the recent remark of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on BNP, Mirza Fakhrul said, “Incumbent Prime Minister delivered same speech in 1991 in Kolkata but BNP then assumed power.”

He alleged that all the ministers, their PSs, APs are indulged in corruption.

The rally was addressed, among others, by BNP standing Committee member MK Anwar, Dr Moyeen Khan, education affairs secretary Khairul Kabir Khokon and International affairs secretary Nazimuddin.
