White clay reserve found at Panchbibi,Bangladesh

BANGLADESH NEWS

Geological Survey of Bangladesh has found reserve of white clay used to make ceramic products and tiles at Panchbibi pf of Joypurhat, where it earlier found limestone.

"After digging, we found a 60-foot thick reserve of white clay spread over around 100 square kilometres 1700 feet to 1760 feet below the surface," GSB Director General Munira Akhtar told bdnews24.com on Friday.

It was also confirmed that the layer of limestone is 36 feet thick. The layer of white clay was found some 170 feet below the layer of limestone, Akhtar said.

White clay is used to make ceramic products and tiles, she added.

Drilling at Panchbibi was officially called off on Thursday as nothing but parent rock was found after going 1,790 feet down. Generally, no mineral is found after the layer of parent rock.

However, though GSB hoped that coal would be found under the layer of limestone at Panchbibi, now there is no possibility of finding coal there.

"The reserve of white clay is just beneath the layer of limestone. We assumed that the thickness of the layer [of limestone] would be 100 feet. However, we've got 36 feet and it is good," Akhtar said.

GSB had found the layer of limestone, which is 12 kilometres long and eight kilometres wide, by digging 1,494 feet on Jun 2.

GSB Assistant Director and the chief of the team working at Panchbibi, Muhammad Masum: "We've found that the layer of limestone is 36-feet thick and it is situated from 1,494 feet to 1,530 feet below the surface.

"There are shale, clay and sandstone from 1,530 feet to 1,700 feet," he added.

According to him, the layer from 1,760 feet to 1,790 feet is weather zone and the layer from 1,790 feet to 1,815 feet is of parent rock.

Director General Akhtar said four wells would be dug to know the accurate size of the reserves of limestone and white clay.

"Then we will be able to judge whether or not lifting limestone and white clay from the layers will be profitable," she said and added it would take at least two years to finish the job.

"We usually dig only in dry season (November to May). You can't dig when the rainy season starts."

The GSB had started digging at Agair village of Aima Rasulpur Union Parishad of Panchbibi Sadar Upazila in April.

Limestone reserves had also been found at Jamalganj of Joypurhat and Tekerghat of Sunamganj. But the projects to lift limestone from the places were not profitable.

White clay was found in Netrakona and Sherpur but it is barely used to make local ceramic products.

Director of the project at Panchbibi, Mohammad Nehal Uddin said the Tk 59.6-million project started in July 2011 and was expected to end in Jun 2014.

BNP out to bring 'third force':Awami League State Minister for Law Qamrul Islam,Bangladesh

BANGLADESH NEWS

A day after the opposition BNP said it will thwart any 'undemocratic third force' , State Minister for Law Qamrul Islam said the BNP in reality wanted to stifle democracy forever by facilitating emergence of such force.

"They (BNP) were born in the cantonment, so it's natural that they want the emergence of third force," he said at a discussion at the National Press Club on Friday.

BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Thursday had said it would resist if a third force tries to capitalise on the 'political standoff'.

Quamrul said on Friday, "The BNP wants to stop the all the trials including the war crimes trial and the trials of the Aug 21 grenade attack case and 10-truck arms haul case. And they're moving ahead with this purpose."

The Awami League leader also criticised the BNP-led 18-Party Alliance persisting with its demand for restoration of the caretaker government system.

"There's no scope of discussion on a 'dead issue'. A certain group of so-called intellectuals and scholars want the restoration of the system. They want to foil democracy in the name of democracy."

Quamrul urged the opposition to join talks on 'interim government' system instead of the caretaker government.

Awami League Presidium Members Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir and Satish Chandra Roy and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Agriculture Ministry Shawkat Momen Shahjahan also spoke at the programme.

No polls without non-partisan Government: BNP Standing Committee Member MK Anwar,Bangladesh

BANGLADESH NEWS

The BNP has restated the demand for a non-partisan caretaker government overseeing next general elections and urged the government to sit in talks.

BNP Standing Committee Member MK Anwar also renewed the threat that it will not let any election happen without a non-partisan government in the country.

"What we only want is that the next general elections are held under a non-partisan government. Otherwise, BNP will not take part in it," he told a discussion at the Jatiya Press Club on Friday.

He called on the ruling Awami League to discuss the caretaker issue with the opposition, "You can delete the wording 'caretaker government' if you are allergic to it. We have no objection to that."

"The sooner you (government) discuss it the earlier the people of the country will get relief. The economy will get even better," he said.

He also criticised the Awami League leaders for their remarks on talks over the caretaker issue.

"They speak differently on different days. Some of them talked about discussions, again some said they would not sit in discussions with thieves and robbers."

"We are to believe who?" Anwar asked.

Asked why the BNP was not waging a 'tougher movement' as it had threatened, he replied: "It is because BNP do not want to create any conflict in the country.

"We dont want to fight the war the Awami League declared. If there is any war, it will be between the Awami League and the people."

"And the BNP will be on the people's side," the leader added.

Communications Minister Obaidul Quader fumes at Easy Bikes,Bangladesh

BANGLADESH NEWS

Communications Minister Obaidul Quader expressed anger on Friday over the battery-run three wheelers, known as 'Easy Bike' operating on highways.

"Steps should be taken against them (Easy Bikes)," he told reporters after visiting a nearly eight-kilometre stretch of Dhaka-Munshiganj highway at the weekend.

"These vehicles use four to five batteries. And these batteries are being charged with stolen power," he said.

During his journey from Panchabati to Moktarpur, Quader stopped Easy Bikes at several spots and grilled the drivers. Peppered with questions from a Minister, some admitted to charging batteries using illegal power connection.

Around 9:30am at Panchabati, people saw Quader getting out of his car and hurrying to an Easy Bike. The driver, however, jumped from the vehicle at once and hid in a nearby shop.

The second one, 'Sohel', was not as lucky. Asked how he charged the batteries of his Easy Bike, Sohel told the Minister that he sourced illegal power connection to feed them.

"This is why we have to see power cuts," an angry Quader said.

Some of the drivers told him that they had to drive Easy Bike having got nothing else to do. They, however, admitted that such vehicles are risky and without licence.

The Minister also got angry over other three wheelers running on the highways with names like 'Nasiman' and 'Kariman'.

"These types of vehicles do not only create traffic jam and damage roads, but they also raise risks on life," he said and asked local administrations to be alert to the threats these vehicles pose.

The cheap and rechargeable Easy Bikes spread in past few years amid an allegation that these vehicles, imported from China, create extra burden on power.

The Ministry of Communication started discussion to ban such vehicles last year but had yet to take any decision.

After visiting the highway, Quader said the work to build a third bridge on the river Shitalakkha would start 'soon' as Narayanganj is the exit point of the proposed Padma bridge.

A plan has been taken to build the Shitalakkha bridge with Tk 4.77 billion donated by Saudi Arabia, he said. "The Ministry of Planning has approved it," he said.

"Getting money cleared in this country is so complex that it stops many good deeds," he added.

The Minister also said it was not right to think that good roads will lessen number of accidents. "If you want to keep the roads good, you'll have to remove the roadside markets and illegal shops."

Bridges Division Secretary Anwar Hossain, the army's Brig Gen Abu Sayeed Mohammad and Narayanganj-5 MP Nasim Osman were with the Minister.

The highway has recently been repaired under the supervision of the army's 16 Engineer Construction Battalion.

India court rules for TaTa in land tussle,Bangladesh

BANGLADESH NEWS

An Indian court on Friday nullified a law that forced Tata Motors to forfeit land acquired by the company to build a factory, in a decision that could pave the way for the automaker to recoup some of its $310 million investment in the development.

The law, which forced the company to hand back land in India's West Bengal state, was ruled "unconstitutional and void" by the Calcutta High Court, lawyers present told Reuters.

The ruling will be challenged in the Supreme Court, said Kalyan Banerjee, a lawmaker in the state government.

Tata, which abandoned the project in 2008 and shifted the factory to make its ultra-low cost Nano car to another state, has previously sought compensation over the dispute.

"We will be studying the order before deciding the next course of action," Tata Motors spokeswoman Ashmita Pillay said.

Shares in Tata Motors were flat in the afternoon, after having risen slightly following the ruling.

Mayor Akkas Ali, also former general secretary of Bagha upazila unit of Awami League, was arrested at his Koligram residence in the upazila headquarters around 4:00am, said Ali Ahmed Hashmi, officer in charge (OC) of Bagha police station.
Police arrested the mayor after local lawmaker Shahriar Alam's personal aide Quamruzzaman Nipun filed a case against him on Wednesday night for verbally abusing the lawmaker and demanding Tk 1 lakh as 'toll' from him, the OC said.
While placing Akkas before the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Emdadul Haque on Thursday afternoon, police also showed him arrested in another case filed against him under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act, said Court Inspector Nazrul Islam.
A woman of Narayanpur village in Bagha filed the case with Bagha police station accusing Akkas for attempting to rape her on June 2, said Islam.
Akkas submitted prayers for bail in both the cases, and the court sent him to jail custody after fixing June 26 for hearing on the bail prayers, he added.
In his case, Nipun, also general secretary of Arani municipality unit of Jubo League, alleged that Akkas went to Shahriar's house at Arani on Wednesday afternoon in his absence and asked Nipun to convince the lawmaker for giving him Tk 1 lakh as 'toll'.
As Nipun declined to do so, Akkas uttered abusive words about Shahriar and threatened to vandalise the MP's house if his demand was not met, the plaintiff said, adding that Akkas had said that he needed the money for getting bail from the High Court in several cases filed against him.
Akkas is accused in 20 cases filed for violence, misappropriating wheat, obstructing government activities, land grabbing, extortion, and abusing and violating women, Bagha police station OC said.
Earlier on September 26 last year, Akkas was arrested for beating up six employees of the District Judge's Court including the court's najir, he added.
"Akkas, who was earlier expelled from the party for his drinking habit, regained primary membership of the party through an application last year. Local leaders of the ruling party are embarrassed due to his recent activities," said Amanul Hasan, acting president of Bagha Awami League.

Later, law enforcers rushed to the scene and managed to force the drivers to go ahead, minimising the crisis a bit.

ATN Bangla chief interrogated,Bangladesh

BANGLADESH NEWS

The Rapid Action Battalion investigators have quizzed ATN Bangla Chairman Mahfuzur Rahman at his office over the murder of journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi.

The grilling came amid growing calls by journalist groups to interrogate the private television station's supremo.

RAB's Media and Legal Wing Director Commander Mohammed Sohail, who led a team to the station's office at around 11am, said they also collected a video recording of an interview of Mahir Sarowar Megh, the only son of the slain couple, after the killing.

Sagar, a News Editor with private channel Maasranga Television, and Runi, a Senior Reporter at ATN Bangla, were killed on Feb 11 at their residence.

Sohail told journalists that it was part of their 'continuous' investigation to expose the killers.

"We are visiting their workplaces," he said claiming that they were moving 'step by step'.

Earlier, Z I Mamun, Head of News at ATN Bangla, told that the elite force arrived at their office at Kawranbazar at around 11am and talked with their Chairman.

"They also collected some video footage," he said.

Journalists had been demanding that the ATN Bangla Chairman be interrogated to crack the mystery surrounding the killing of the journalist-couple after Mahfuzur himself said in London that he had a video footage relating to the killing.

Mahfuzur on May 30 told journalists in London that the slain couple was 'victim of an extra-marital affair' and that he had a video footage and information on the case.

The RAB spokesperson said they were informed recently that "ATN Bangla has a video footage of Megh's interview".

"We were curious to watch the video. We collected it along with other reports relayed by ATN Bangla following the murder.

"We have also collected video footages of the reports run by other TV channels (after murder)," he said.

Sohail urged journalists to have patience as he believed the elite force would be able to reach the culprits.

Mojaheed indicted Faces trial for 7 war crimes charges including killing of intellectuals,Bangladesh

BANGLADESH NEWS

Jamaat leader Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed is the second war crimes accused facing trial over the planned killing of intellectuals just before Bangladesh's liberation on December 16, 1971.
The International Crimes Tribunal-2 yesterday indicted Jamaat-e-Islami leader Mojaheed, 64, with seven charges, including murder, torture, and imprisonment of people, genocide, and hatching a conspiracy to kill intellectuals during the Liberation War.
Two charges related specifically to Mojaheed's involvement in the much-talked-about killings of eminent journalist Serajuddin Hossain and Shafi Imam Rumi, son of Shaheed Janani Jahanara Imam, who became a symbolic mother of all martyrs for her sacrifice and role during the war and afterwards.
Earlier, International Crimes Tribunal-1 indicted Jamaat's Ameer (chief) Motiur Rahman Nizami with 16 charges of crimes against humanity, one of which was in connection with killing intellectuals en masse.
Until September 1971, Mojaheed was secretary and later president of East Pakistan Islami Chhatra Sangha. He is now secretary general of the Jamaat-e-Islami. BNP chief Khaleda Zia had appointed him as a technocrat minister in her cabinet during the BNP-led four-party alliance rule in 2001-2006.
After framing the charges under the International Crimes (Tribunals) Act, 1973, the three-member tribunal, headed by Justice ATM Fazle Kabir with members Justice Obaidul Hassan and Judge Md Shahinur Islam, fixed July 19 for hearing the opening statement of the prosecution and for examining prosecution witnesses.
When Justice Kabir asked Mojaheed how he pleaded, Mojaheed, who was in the dock and listening to the charges being read out, said, “I'm 100 percent innocent."
The tribunal in the charges said, “In October 1971, he [Mojaheed] was elected provincial president of the organisation [Islami Chhatra Sangha] and became the chief of the Al-Badr Bahini [an auxiliary force of the Pakistan army].”
Historical records say that anticipating defeat, the Pakistani occupation forces and their collaborators--Razakars, Al-Badr and Al-Shams (mostly leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student front Islami Chhatra Sangha)--picked up leading Bangalee intellectuals and professionals and killed them en masse to cripple the new nation.
Documents related to the war show that the Jamaat formed Razakar and Al-Badr forces to counter the freedom fighters. The Razakar force was built by former secretary general of the Jamaat Moulana Abul Kalam Mohammad Yousuf, and the “Badr Bahini” had men from the Islami Chhatra Sangha.
Justice Kabir said, “The statement of witnesses and the documents prima facie demonstrate that the accused was an influential leader of the Islami Chhatra Sangha and subsequently chief of Al Badr Bahini who actively associated with the Pakistani occupation army and Razakar Bahini by exercising his authority.”
He said, “We are of the view that there are sufficient and substantial materials before this tribunal to presume that the accused [Mojaheed] committed offences in the 1971 War of Liberation…”
“The truthfulness of this pertinent factual issue including the fact that the accused was the chief of Al-Badr Bahini may be well adjudicated at the trial only,” the tribunal said.
On the charge about his alleged involvement in the killing of intellectuals, the tribunal said during the Liberation War, the Pakistan army had set up a camp at Mohammadpur Physical Training Institute, Dhaka, and members of Razakar and Al-Badr forces used to receive their training at that camp, known as a “torture camp”.
“You [Mojaheed] used to visit the camp regularly with your co-leaders and with intent to annihilate the Bangalee population, and design, plan and conspire with senior army officers of the camp,” said the tribunal.
“Following such conspiracy and planning, intellectuals' killings were committed from December 10,” added the tribunal.
In another charge, the tribunal said Mojaheed had written an article, published in the daily Sangram on September 16, 1971, countering an article written by Serajuddin Hossain, the then executive editor of daily Ittefaq. Serajuddin had written on the sufferings of unarmed civilians at the hands of the agents of the Pakistani army.
Mojaheed had called Seraj an “agent of India” in his piece.
“Serajuddin Hossain, a notable journalist of the country and a member of the group of intellectuals, became the target of the Jamaat-e-Islami and Al-Badr Bahini,” said the tribunal, adding, “On the night of December 10, 1971, seven to eight youths, their faces covered with monkey caps and equipped with rifles, abducted Serajuddin Hossain from his rented house at 5, Chamelibagh, Dhaka, and he never returned nor was his body found.”
In another charge, Justice Kabir said, on August 30, 1971, Mojaheed, accompanied by Matiur Rahman Nizami, went to the army camp at the old MP Hostel in Nakhalpara, Dhaka. He started scolding Altaf Mahmud, Jahir Uddin Jalal, Badi, Rumi (son of Jahanara Imam), Jewel and Azad who were kept imprisoned there.
“Then you [Mojaheed] told one army captain that before the proclamation of clemency by the president, they [detainees] would have to be killed. Following this decision, you [Mojaheed] with the assistance of accomplices killed the civilian detainees by causing inhuman torture,” said the tribunal.
“The dead bodies of the victims could not be traced even,” added the tribunal.
Earlier on the day, the tribunal granted two prosecution petitions, one for bringing an additional charge against Mojaheed and the other for an additional witness in the case against him.
Earlier in the year, the prosecution had submitted 34 charges against Mojaheed before Tribunal-1, which took the charges into cognisance on January 26.
On April 25, the case was transferred to Tribunal-2 and after submission from the prosecution, the tribunal fixed yesterday for passing an order on charge framing.
Mojaheed was arrested in connection with another case on June 29, 2010, but on August 2 of the same year he was shown arrested in a case filed in connection with crimes against humanity.
If convicted, Mojaheed could get the death penalty. The war crimes act only allows a convict to appeal to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court against his conviction and sentence.
FOUR OTHER CHARGES
The tribunal said after holding a meeting, Mojaheed accompanied by his accomplices on May 13, 1971 attacked the Hindu community of Bakchar village in Faridpur and tied up at least nine people.
The wife of Upen Saha, one of the detainees, even requested the release of her husband in exchange of money and jewellery.
“…following your [Mojaheed] instruction your accomplices killed all the apprehended civilians belonging to the Hindu community,” said the tribunal, adding that one woman was then raped.
“You [Mojaheed] and your accomplices looted and burnt the house of one Anil Saha and by such discriminatory and persecutory conduct you compelled villagers to depart for India,” said the tribunal.
It noted that on a day in the middle of May, 1971, Mojaheed, accompanied by one Hammad Moulana of Faridpur town and eight to 10 non-Bangalees and Pakistani army men, launched an attack on Hindu-dominated Baidyadangi, Majhidangi and Baladangi villages. It said the attack was made with intent to destroy the community either in whole or in part. It said 50-60 Hindus were killed in indiscriminate gun fire and their houses were burnt down.
The tribunal said one morning in the first week of June, 1971, Razakars apprehended Ranjit Nath of Rathkhola in Faridpur and brought him before Pakistani army Major Akram at Faridpur Old Circuit House, where Mojaheed was also present.
It said getting a signal from Mojaheed, after his talks with the major, some Razakers and non-Bangalee people took Ranjit to the house of Abdur Rashid on the eastern side of the Bihari camp. Ranjit was kept confined in the house and tortured. He, however, managed to escape later.
On July 26, 1971, Razakars abducted Abu Yusuf, suspecting him to be a freedom fighter, from Alfadanga in Faridpur and brought him to the army camp set up in Faridpur stadium. The same day, Mojaheed went to the camp and said something to a Pakistani army major which caused Yusuf to be tortured severely.
Yusuf was kept there for 33 days during which time he was tortured inhumanly. He was moved to Jessore Cantonment later on.

Ashulia back to life Apparel factories resume production after 4-day shutdown due to labour unrest,Bangladesh

BANGLADESH NEWS

Production resumed in garment factories at Ashulia yesterday after a four-day shutdown, but the presence of workers was thin.
Factory owners say many workers have gone to their village homes or are in search of jobs elsewhere following the shutdown of about 300 units in the wake of labour unrest over pay hikes.
On the first day at work after the shutdown, many workers did not return to the factories of the leading manufacturer, Ha-Meem Group, that employs 14,000 workers for its Ashulia operations, company officials said.
The group's seven units there make an annual turnover of $200 million, according to officials.
"However, normalcy is returning to our factories,” AK Azad, managing director of the group, told The Daily Star.
After a weeklong spate of street violence by the workers in the area demanding a pay raise, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) on Saturday announced a shutdown that began on Sunday.
The owners reopened their units yesterday following government assurances that the factories would be secured.
A shopkeeper at Ashulia, who witnessed last week's street battle between the garment workers and the law enforcers, said the area was calm yesterday.

Principal ruthless Students caned for not attending coaching; 14 hurt,Kushtia,Bangladesh

BANGLADESH NEWS

At least 14 students at Kushtia Police Lines School and College were injured yesterday when they were ruthlessly caned by its principal for declining to attend the coaching classes run by the school authorities.
Of the students, three had to be admitted to a local hospital. The rest were given first-aid treatment at different clinics.
According to sources, the authorities have made it mandatory for the students of classes eight, nine and ten to take the coaching classes, monthly fees for which range between Tk 700 and Tk 1,500.
Since fees were burdensome for their parents, some students had declined to attend the coaching classes. When they came to school yesterday, Principal Abu Dadra Md Arif Billah ordered them to go to the classes for coaching.
But as they refused to comply, the principal started hitting them with a cane around 10:30am.
Three students -- Sajid Hasan, 14, Yaman Hasan Shovon, 14, Wahiduzzaman, 14, of class nine -- were admitted to Kushtia General Hospital and were later released.
Of them, Sajid suffered injuries in the left eye and neck, and Shovon in the arms and back, said Dr Tapas Kumar Paul of the hospital.
Alauddin Ahmed, an officer at Jibon Bima Corporation in Kushtia, told this correspondent that his son Mohaimen had told him about the coaching classes. “But I asked him not to enrol for coaching as I am unable to afford the fees,” said Alauddin.
Mohaimen is one of those thrashed by the principal.
After the incident, a large number of aggrieved guardians rushed to the school. But they were barred from entering the premises.
Contacted, the principal said he had given the students only a “mild beating”.
“I just showed them the cane to frighten them. But they are now pretending to be hurt,” he claimed.
In return for anonymity, several guardians said some teachers were threatening them over the phone that the students who had “created this situation” would be expelled from the institution if they talked to others about the matter.
On information, Subhas Chandra Saha, additional superintendent of police and also president of the governing body of the institution, went to the school and brought the situation under control.
“Action will be taken against the teacher if he is found guilty,” Saha said.
On August 9, 2010, the government issued an order banning all kinds of corporal punishment at educational institutions. The education ministry on April 26 last year announced guidelines to implement the order.
Earlier, the High Court declared corporal punishment “unconstitutional” and ordered the government to take measures against physical punishment.

Peanut farming brings smile to char farmers,Bangladesh

BANGLADESH NEWS

Large areas of sandy chars (landmass emerged from riverbed) in the Jamuna basin in Fulchhari upazila under the district are now covered with green peanut plants as a good number of poor and landless farmers are cultivating it to change their lot.
This season 570 hectares of land on around 20 chars in the area have been brought under peanut cultivation which has appeared as more profitable than that of traditional crops like paddy, maize, sugarcane or wheat, said sources of upazila agriculture office.
Harvest of early variety peanut has begun in some areas and it is selling for Tk 1800 to 2000 per maund.
Eight to ten maunds of peanut is produced per bigha and the process of cultivation, from sowing seeds to harvesting, requires a little effort.
Peanut farming is spreading especially in Fazlupur Arendabari, Fulchhari and Gajaria unions in Fulchhari upazila as many poor and landless farmers, many of them from other areas, are cultivating hybrid variety of the item as sharecroppers.
"It needs only Tk 1,500 to cultivate peanut on a bigha of land. Sandy chars in river basin areas are used for the purpose, as those lands are not fit for cultivation of other crops," said Sadek Ali, a landless farmer of Gajaria Char.
"I cultivated peanut on two bighas of land and expecting at least 18 maunds of yield. Last year the price of green peanut was Tk 700 to Tk 800 per maund, but his season the price has increased to Tk 1800-Tk 2000," said Abdul Majid of Char Khatiyamari village.
Huge quantities of peanut are being transported from Fulchhari market to different districts and dried peanut is selling for Tk 2200 to Tk 2400 per maund, said Mizanur Rahman, a peanut wholesaler at Fulchhari market.
While visiting Fulchhari market a couple of days ago, this correspondent saw huge quantities of peanut arriving from distant char lands by boats or rickshaw vans. Many small growers brought the produce in gunny bags.
More and more farmers are getting interested in peanut cultivation in fallow char lands, said Shamser Ali, a grower of Char Kalasona.
"Now farmers are cultivating peanut in char areas along Jamuna River basin at their own initiative. It bears prospect of better cultivation and yield if the government extends help," said Yousuf Ranan Mandol, upazila agriculture officer of Fulchhari.
