DHAKA: Opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia Sunday requested new Saudi crown prince to solve the problems of Bangladeshi expatriate in Saudi Arabia, including work permit.
Besides, new crown prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud assured the former premier to solve the problems of Bangladeshis in the country.
She came up with the plea at a meeting held at the Saudi crown prince office in Riyad around 10:30am, said a press release sent by Khaleda’s press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan.
The opposition leader of the parliament also urged the prince to work for the welfare of the Muslims.
Former foreign minister Riaz Rahman, former foreign sectretary Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury, Maruf Kamal Khan and Enamul Karim were among others present.
On June 15, opposition leader of the House BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia reached Saudi Arabia on Friday night.
