The High Court has granted bail to the BNP 's Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and 29 other senior leaders of the 18-Party Alliance in a case for torching vehicle in front of the Prime Minister's Office during the Apr 29 shutdown.
The bench of Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury and Justice F R M Nazmul Ahsan granted the bails on Thursday noon.
The accused have no other legal bar to getting released following the bails, Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia, counsel for the opposition leaders, told reporters.
