Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan has been admitted to United Hospital of the capital early Wednesday.
The minister fell sick as a result of high blood pressure while exchanging Eid greetings with the people of his constituency in Madaripur Tuesday night, reports our Madaripur correspondent.
He was rushed to Dhaka Tuesday night and admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the hospital under Dr Fatema Begum.
Earlier, the minister was given primary treatment at Madaripur Sadar Hospital.
