A total of 4,410 students under Chittagong Education Board have submitted applications for re-checking the answer sheets of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations this year.
Confirming the matter, Exam Controller Dr. Pijush Datt, “All these students have appealed for reexamining their answer sheets as they did not get expected results.”
He said, “Results will be re-announced on August 14 after reassessing more than 16,000 answer sheets.”
Earlier, the applications were received by Short Messaging Service (SMS) using the service providing telecommunication company Teletalk from July 19 to 26.
Around 53,968 students from 191 institutions appeared in this year`s HSC and equivalent examinations and of them, 72.29 percent passed.
